Lake and Derby

We definitely had a fun weekend that is worth blogging about. Friday, we went to a BBQ/Farewell party for one of Nic's old high school track buddies. It was really fun for Nic to see all of his good friends from high school and all their little kids and to show off our cutest boy in the world. I don't have any pictures from the BBQ but it was a lot of fun.

Saturday we headed up to Jordanelle to ride Tyson's (Nic's brother) wave runners. Tyson's in-laws also came with their boat. So we hung out on the boat all day and rode wave runners. So much fun. Being out on the water has been my most favorite thing to do since I can remember. Nixon even liked riding on the wave runner with Dad.

Then after we got all cleaned up we went to the biggest white trash event in Utah. That's right we went to the annual Demolitian Derby in West Jordan. It was great this year. There were more cars and we saw 3 cars get flipped over by other cars! Anyways, that was our fun weekend I wanted to share.

P.S. Nixon is getting really good at taking horrible pictures. Nic says he always looks stoned in pictures. Either that or he is moving too much and it turns out blurry. Gotta love it!
