The Patio and Garden

Before...

This is the huge pile of cement that Nic used to make the patio. We got it for free from all the construction going on across the street at the church.

After...

We are in the process of finding a moss that will survive between the cracks and we also want to eventually build up the flower bed along side the shed.

Front of house before...

Front of house after...

My flowers in the pots on the porch have died in this picture...I'm in the process of planting some new ones :)

Our grape vine before...

Our grape vine now...

This thing grows like crazy. We also have strawberries growing underneath the grapes...not sure how those are going to do this year.

No vegetable garden before...

Look at our vegetable garden now...

We are (trying) to grow lettuce, bell peppers (red, green, yellow, and orange), tomatos (normal, roma, yellow cherry), watermelon, peas, soy beans, spaghetti squash, and cucumber.

Wow...The house looks great. All the hard work is paying off. I just can't figure out how Nic moved all that cement. Some of those pieces look really big! hahaha Just kidding we all know in that skinny frame he's got some big muscles.

We know how hard it was to get the patio done for the blessing date. It looks great and we sure enjoyed eating dinner on the patio last weekend with both of you. Zip liked your place too!!

The home improvements look great. I love how you did the patio. Now you will have a great place to hang out! That patio set looks familiar...glad you found a use for it!

Wow. That is awesome that you guys are so ambitious. I am doing some work on the kids rooms and have had to recruit my dad to help because that is not what Tono enjoys doing. It looks really good though. I bet your enjoying having a beautiful yard!
