Catching up...

So it has been a VERY long time since I have posted anything and so much has happened since Nixon's blessing. Shortly after his blessing Nixon turned 3 months. He learned how to roll over all by himself (back to tummy) on June 8th. And as of June 16th he is now 4 months! He loves to smile, giggle, roll over, put all his toys in his mouth, and is now grabbing his toes.

Nic has been working very hard this summer on making our yard beautiful. He spends every morning in the yard doing something. We now have a beautiful patio, vegeteble garden, trimmed trees, flowers, and the lawn is looking better and better everyday. When we bought our home the yard was so overgrown and had not been very well taken care of so it has been a work in progress. He has taken a break from classes this summer and has been working full time at the salon and loves spending time with Nixon any chance he gets.

As for me I've been working really hard to get someone to rent our apartment. I cleaned out all of our storage and did our first official "open house" last Saturday. We will have another one tonight and then again on Saturday. Hopefully by Saturday we will find someone that likes it and wants to move in. It has been really frustrating having it vacant all summer long. I have also gotten back into a routine in the morning where I take Nixon out for a jog. It feels really good to finally get back out for morning runs again. I love spending time with Nixon and being a stay at home mom.

Nic and I also celebrated our 3 year anniversay on June 2nd. Nic surprised me with a little getaway to Midway. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We also drove up to Park City one night for dinner and of course did some shopping at the outlets. We enjoyed a walk around the lake and ate a cute little place for brunch. We also enjoyed a couples massage...thanks to Mike and Leslie for the wonderful gift certificate.

Well, I will be posting pictures of everything for the next couple of days to catch up on everything that has happened.

Nic really has been busy. But everything looks so nice. We have been working on a lot of projects too. I hope you guys find someone to rent soon. Good luck!

Yeah I am so glad you finally gave us an update. I was wondering if you guys were abducted by aliens or something. Can't wait to see you in a few short weeks.

Thanks for the update! Nixon is growing so much and just gets cuter and cuter! It's fun to see all the improvements made in your yard as well! jacob and I know first hand how hard it is to make a lawn look decent! It's not easy!
