Today

Today I got out of bed before Nixon and put on my make up with great hopes of taking Nixon to story time at the library. Instead, we did this...


...not so fun but so satisfying to be the mom of this adorable toddler who needs to be cuddled, and loved when he feels his worst. I venture to say that singing lullaby's to him while watching his beautiful eyes with ridiculously long eye lashes slowly become heavy and finally close to a peacefull slumber was much more satisfying than taking him to the library this morning.
