Vann Michael Bennion

As many of you are aware, Kandis was scheduled to be induced on Monday (Feb 7th) which is a week before her official due date (Fab 13th). Friday (Feb 4th) she had her final check-up to be sure she wsa progressing on her own well enough to go ahead with the induction. The Dr. Scraped her membranes during the visit. He had a very different tone in referance to the process, however. Instead of warning us that she might go into labor (which has been our experience more than oncce with Nixon), the Dr. said that he did not want to suggest that the process would send her into labor. Rather, it was a procedure that would make for more favorable conditions on monday.

Well, Kandis sarted to have contractions while shopping with her mom around 4:30 in the afternoon. She can usually make them go away just by taking it easy for a minute. Not this time. We went to the hospital around 10:30p.m. Friday night. We pulled an all nighter and by 4:19a.m. she gave a very rapid delivery to Vann.
