Very Sad Day

One of the most historic buildings in the state of Utah burned down yesterday - The Provo Tabernacle.

If you've ever been to Utah or lived in Utah then you would know that the Provo Tabernacle is a site to see. Definitely one of the most beautiful buildings with amazing woodwork through out the entire tabernacle and beautiful stained glass windows. It started burning at 3am yesterday and was still burning when I drove by it later that evening at 7pm. So sad!

Saw this from a friend on facebook. Can't believe it! Do they know what started the fire? I hope they can restore it.

I hope the church decides to restore that beautiful building. I remember going to services in that building and loved the stained glass windows. I hope they figure out how that got started and keep it from happening again.

I've been reading about this at LDS living, and I saw a cool story of a picutre of Christ that was burned, and the whole picture was burned except Christ. It was pretty cool, I shared it with my kids. They said that Jesus was protecting it.
