we decided to adopt...it's a girl!

For those of you who have not heard yet, Nic and I have decided that we need to adopt. We just really feel like Nixon needs someone to play with and keep him company and it seems like the right thing to do right now in our life. So with out further ado...here is Betty!

Some of you may know her already as Betty Boop!


Betty Boop was my mom's dog that we adopted. She has been so much fun to have in the house. Nixon absolutely loves her and is pretty nice to her for the most part. And Betty is so good with kids, we cannot ask for a better family dog. She has adjusted to her new home really well. I can tell she is starting to get more comfortable in her new house because she is started to chew on our things (Nixon's toys, my slippers...etc.) She loves going for walks in the morning and getting all the attention she can get. She now knows to go to the side yard to do her business and then comes right back in the house when she is done.
