Pioneer Day Celebration

Every year for Pioneer Day our ward gets together and marches in a parade around the neighborhood and then meets at the park for breakfast. This year they decided they wanted to have games for the kids and the YW were in charge of putting together those games.

Here are the kids playing the water game.

Here are some of the kids lined up ready to do the 3-legged race.

It was an especially fun weekend because I got to see a lot of my family (Jake and Julia and their kids, Matt and Stacey and their kids, Kristin and her baby, and Mom and Dad). While they were here we toured Cabella's, had a big swim party at Wayne and Lauries where we got to see more family, and enjoyed Lauren's mission homecoming talk on Sunday. Mom and Kristin stayed in town a bit longer than everyone else and on Monday we went to this Hawaiin BBQ that was a fundraiser for one of Nic's friend's who tours around the states help spread the gospel through music.

Nixon had so much fun running around with this little boy during the concert. Sorry so blurry.

Good times and good music! We sure gave Nixon a place to get his run around.
