Nixon did so good on his first road trip to California. It was a long drive as usual but we didn't even have to make any extra stops for the little guy. He mostly slept and then played with some toys, watched Baby Einstein DVD's and slept some more. We spent 10 days in California where we had a mini "family reunion" (minus Josh and Alexis's fam) at my parents house. We drove down to Santa Cruz to hang out on the beach and the boardwalk for 2 days and then spent the remainder of the vacation relaxing at Mom and Dad's. It was so fun to see everyone and for everyone to see Nixon. Thanks Mom and Dad for putting up with us all at your house at once!

I love the picture of Nixon on Julia's blog, he looks so much older. I'm glad that he did well on the road trip, sitting in the car that long is never fun. We sure wish that we could have been there too.
Kandis, Nixon is getting so big! He is soooo cute I love the picture of him sitting in the back seat and just grinning at you. What a doll. It looks like you guys had a great time in Cal. How fun to see almost all your brothers and sister. Keep posting cute pics of that boy, I just want to eat him up!
