Thanksgiving in West Virginia
This year for Thanksgiving Nic and I traveled to West Virginia to stay with Jacob and Julia. It was so fun to see their cute kids all grown up (especially Isaac) and to finally see where they live! Mom and Dad and Josh and Alexis were also there so we had a great time pigging out on Thanksgiving food (well, being pregnant I was not able to fit as much food in my tummy as I would have liked too...ha!), playing games, taking the kids to Valley World of Fun, and relaxing. I did not feel so well on Thursday evening and started feeling even worse when we traveled home on Friday night. I had severe back pains, especially in my right side, stiff neck, headache, nausea, and chills. So I went into the doctor Saturday morning and they gave me some antibiotics for a UTI...so stupid! I hate being sick especially when there is so much to do around the house. Poor Nic had to work on the basement all day and night while I was limited to the couch. (Thank you Jake Garlik and Mom Bennion for helping Nic yesterday!) I'm starting to feel a little bit better today and the basement is coming along and hopefully we will be able to finish tonight because we have renters that want to move in tomorrow! It will be so nice to finally be finished and be able finish unpacking our stuff upstairs. At this point I have not gotten my hopes up for decorating for Christmas this year...I would be happy to just get everything upacked and be settled into the house.

You should be feeling better in a couple of days. The meds take a few days to kick in. It was great to be with you both in WV. I wish the weather was a little bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the outdoors as well as the indoors. Thanks for the laughs while playing games. Nic is amazing at scultpting!!
Hope you feel better soon! We missed being with all you on Thanksgiving, but were thinking about you. Hang in there and just think in a couple more months you will be having a baby...and will get to see me. Yeah!!
I hope you're feeling better soon! It was so fun having you and Nic here for Thanksgiving. You're the like cutest little pregnant person EVER! :) Love you guys...thanks for all your help with the house and your opinion on towels, hardware, and other important issues. :)
It was so great to see you and your little baby Nixon bump. I'm glad that it is just a UTI and not anything more serious. I hope that you get feeling better, and hopefully got everything ready for your renter to move in.
