First we drove to Petaluma to visit Nic's aunt and uncle while his family was there visiting as well. We spent Saturday at the beach. They all had a lot of fun playing in the river water which was warmer and then attempted to body board and kayak in the freezing ocean. I remained fully clothed in sweat pants and sweatshirt with a blanket wrapped around me and did not go near the water...too cold for me!


Then we got to spend a week and my parent's house (Dad was unfortunately in Utah hunting so we did not get to see him). While we were there we got our teeth cleaned, took Rusty for morning runs and wore that old dog out, played at Sunsplash, went to University Falls, relaxed by the pool, watched the Olympics, shopped, ate really good food, visited Granpa Kelly, visited my old gym (Byers Roseville), played with baby Ava, got an ultrasound, and shopped for our baby boy. Thanks for such a fun vacation Mom, sorry we missed you Dad!
