Sushi Sunday
I think most of you know by now how much Nic and I LOVE sushi. We love it so much that we usually go out to our favorite restaurant Sushi Ya to satisfy that craving for fresh sushi but it is an expensive craving each time. So, Nic being the "crafty" man that he is, decided that we should make it ourselves. We were really nervous about how it would turn out and if we would get sick and die from the raw fish. But we were quite successful I must say. We even made our very own tempura! Here are some pictures of the fun we had making our very own sushi!!!

Where do I get reservations??? You did a great job if your pictures are true!! I can't believe you did it. How in the world do you make that yummy sticky rice stuff?? Learn how to make California rolls and I am so there!

looks awesome! mark and i make our own sushi all the time. we're too picky so we have to make it the way we like it. isn't it so much fun!? we love making it! and we have to make char sui (not sure how to spell that) and edamame to go with it. it's delish!
That looks awesome. Looks like you had enough sushi for more than two to eat! Did it end up being pretty cheap to make? I would love to learn to do that! I may have to try it one of these days too. Any tips?

I must say I'm a sushi virgin for life! I can't get myself to try it, it scares me. But it looks like you two did a great job on it! Maybe if I actually saw it prepared I might get up the nerve.
